Dorothy (Dot) Hicks Morrison, 90, left her earthly shell behind and entered the eternal Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. A celebration of Mrs. Morrisons life will be held today at 2 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Dr. Bill Owens and Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating. Internment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens South. The family will receive friends from Noon to 2 p.m. today. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to Ridgedale Baptist Church, 1831 Hickory Valley Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421 in Mrs. Morrisons memory.
