Dorothy Clift

Dorothy L. Clift, 83, of Soddy-Daisy, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 7, 2014. Dorothy was preceded in death by two husbands, Billy E. Clift and Herchel Clift; father and mother, Willis and Elizabeth May; brother, Vincent "Bunk" May. Survivors include her son, James B. Clift; daughter, Patricia A. Dennis; grandsons, Robert Jeffrey and William Tracy Brown; two great-grandchildren, Joshua T. and Alexis L. Brown; sister, Shirley (Leck) Wilson; brothers, Dewey (Martha) and David (Carrie) May; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Hunsucker and Father Charlie Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery with Jeff Brown, Tracy Brown, Joshua Brown, Robbie Burns, Zack Ward, Paul Cole and Bret May serving as pallbearers.
