Georgia Irene Smith, 95, of Chattanooga, died Monday, July 7, 2014. She was a retired employee of Memorial Hospital dietary department, she was preceded in death by her parents, George William and Mary Elizabeth Hayden; brother, Warren G. Hayden; husband, Albert Gerald Smith; and son, Charles David Smith; she was a member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Smith; special friends, Sybil Cannon, Bill and Nancy Monroe. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, in the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
