Patricia Brown

Patricia Janet Bomar Brown, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday July 6, 2014 at her residence. She was formerly employed by the Stratford House as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Willie Robert Bomar Jr.; grandparents, Rev. Willie and Iola Bomar Sr., Bob and Rachel McCluskey; daughter, Michelle Nicole Brown; and sister, Angela Bomar Mathis. Survivors include her husband, Anthony D. Brown Sr.; son, Correy J. (April) Brown, of Nashville; daughter, Stephanie D. Brown, of Chattanooga; stepson, Anthony D. Brown Jr., of Newark, N.J.; mother, Gladys McCluskey Bomar, of Chattanooga; sister, Minister Sheila Bomar (Gerald Sr.) Spence; adopted sister, Gwendolyn "Tina" Love; uncle, Earl McCluskey, of Sidney, Ohio; aunt, Corine Nichols, of Lyerly, Ga.; nephews, Robert Bray and Willie Robert Bomar Leak; nieces, Lakesha Marie Mathis and LaToya Spence; great-nephews, Ricky and Gary Covington, Jayden and Tramell Mathis, and Jordan Bush; great-niece, Arianna Mathis; special cousin, Margaret Williams, of Sidney, Ohio; several cousins, other relatives; close friends, Pat Rogers, Janet Wallace, Nelda Cooper, Shirley Fox, Rev. Barbara Sanderfur and many other friends. Visitation is today from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at noon in the chapel with Rev. Gerald Spence Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
