Bob Hicks RINGGOLD Robert "Bob" Hicks, 76, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area. Bob was a member of the Lakeview First Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was retired from Combustion and ESI electric motor sales after several years of service. Survivors are his loving wife of 53 years, Joyce Riddle Hicks; daughter, Tonja Hicks of Fort Oglethorpe; grandson, Joshua Russell Payne of Red Bank; brother, James Hicks of Kissimmee, Fla.; sister, Doris White of Hixson. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Johnston and Rev. Max Parris officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery.
