David Janisch

David W. Janisch, 32, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014. He was the manager of Mexi Ville Restaurant and attended Fairview Baptist Church. He was formerly of Cucamonga, Calif., and was a huge Florida Gator fan. He was a 2001 graduate of Lakeview/Fort Oglethorpe High School where he participated in wrestling, football and soccer. His passions in life were cooking and deep sea fishing. David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilburt and Muriel Detty and William and Isabelle Janisch; and aunt, Karen Croxford. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Marks Janisch; father, Mike (Sharon) Janisch; mother, Allison (Joe) Daffron; brother, Bryan (Cara) Janisch; sister, Cassie (Jason) Rose; and beloved nieces and nephew; and his beloved dog Maci. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, in the South Crest Chapel with the Rev. Jim Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
