Brandy Childress

Brandy Gayle Childress, 36, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga Valley and was a member of Union Avenue Baptist Church. Brandy was preceded in death by her father, Terry "Turu" Childress; and grandparents, Cecil Tankersley and James and Laquata Hill. She is survived by her mother, Brenda Childress, of Rossville; grandmother, O'Dell Tankersley; sister, Amber (Roddy) Davenport, of Rossville; brother, Kenneth (Brittany) Patty, of Flintstone; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. James Davis and Rev. Dewayne Madaris officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. today and prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements by W.L.
