Larry Belvin

Larry "Tiny" Belvin, 80, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Belvin. Following graduation from Tyner High School in 1951, he served in the U.S. Army. Tiny retired from Combustion Engineering after serving for more than 44 years. He was a faithful member of Kingspoint Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by sisters, Doris Thomas and Marcella Hale. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Cynthia Belvin; son, Glenn Michael Belvin; daughter, Kimberley Baker; brother, Raymond Belvin; sister, June Heaps; and four grandchildren, Jennifer, Dustin and Candace Jeffords and Michael Belvin. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson, with the Rev. Tim Marrs officiating.
