George Patterson

George Patterson George T. Patterson, 78, formerly of Chickamauga, Ga., and St. Elmo, died Saturday, June 7, 2014. He attended Mountain View Church of Christ and Graduated from David Lipscomb College. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George Lee and Jessie Almeda Patterson; and one sister, Virginia Simons. He is survived by his daughter, Carol (Tommy) Laney, Cindy (Jeff) McCann, Cerese (Gabriele) Speciale; adoptive daughter, Angi Lee; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his lady friend, Sherry Dodd. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Mountain View Church of Christ. Interment will be private in Hooker Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday at Mountain View Church of Christ, 1001 Mission Ridge Road, Rossville, GA 30741.
