Earl Harris

Earl Hutson Harris, 94, of Ooltewah, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. He was the son of the late Jasper Young Harris and Daisy Lee Gray Harris and was preceded in death by his first wife, Douglas Clara Harris; second wife, Mary Harris; daughter, Donna Harris Campbell; brother, Carl Harris; sister, Elizabeth; and son-in-law, Charles Bellows. Earl was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired as a master mechanic from Eastern Airlines after 35 years of service. He was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church and faithfully served the Lord in many capacities for 85 years. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Darlene Bellows-Trevathan and Michael "Mickey" Trevathan, of Ooltewah; son and daughter-in-law, Marlon and Tammie Harris, of Boynton Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Wortley and Billie Harris, of Richmond, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the residence located at 5612 Kristy Lane, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
