Mary Jo Mitchell LaFAYETTE Mary Jo Mitchell, 63, died Monday, March 3, 2014. Mary Jo worked in the Deli Department at Cochrans Travel Center in Ringgold for over 20 years. Preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Evans; and brother, Steve Lively. Survived by father and stepmother, Robert "Bob" and Mae Lively; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jennifer Mitchell, and Terry and Christy Mitchell, all of LaFayette; grandchildren, Amanda, Zack, Jessica, Caitlin, Kyla, Pierce Mitchell and Colin Mountjoy; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral from the Wallis Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Chris Holman and nephew Tony Lively officiating. Pallbearers: Jim Brock, Larry Brock, James Stephens, Austin Stephens, Tony Lively and Peewee Bailey. Honorary pallbearers: Zach Bell, Mack Morrison Jr., Jim Gordy, and the Deli staff at Cochrans Travel Center. Interment: West Hill Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
