Ashley Allen

Ashley Beaunka Allen, 19, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Cynthia Denise Collier and Betty L. Allen; uncle, Glenn T. Bean, Jr. Survivors include her father, Jermaine K. Allen; mother, Athina (Alan) Eady; grandfathers, Rex L. Allen and Glenn Bean Sr., all of Chattanooga; brothers, Deonta Marsh, of Kensington, Ga., Alex Eady, Andrew Eady, both of Chattanooga; stepbrother, Alan Eady, Jr.; sisters, Alena Eady of Chattanooga and Alandria Eady, of Atlanta; uncles, Cletus Dunham and Themetrius McCauley, both of Chattanooga; aunts, LaKisha (Alphonso) Wilkerson, Cassandra Dunham, both of Chattanooga, and Charity Dunham, of Fairbanks, Alaska; nephew, Devonta Marsh, of Kensington, Ga.; godmother, Denise Blackwell; a host of great-aunts; great-uncles; cousins; other relatives; special friend/teacher, Gwendolyn Reynolds; and many other nurses and friends. The body will lie-in-state today after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel with Pastor Ternae Jordan, Jr. as the eulogist. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
