Robert Betts

Robert Marquis Betts, 37, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, in a local hospital. He was formerly employed by ATCO Industries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verdiel Steele and Madonna Haliton. Survivors include his wife, Bridgett Betts; daughters, Alexia Strickland, Natasha Smith, and Justina Fuget; sons, Timothy Witcher and Justice Varner; brother, Brandon Haliton; sisters, Joy (Paul Pinkerton) Storey, Vanester Steele, and Stephanie (Previn) Nelson; several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state at 9:30 a.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Ronald King as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
