Stella Hale

Stella Chastain Hale, 82, departed this life Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was born in Chattanooga to the late Hosea and Molly Chastain. She later retired from LaDean Shop in Rossville, and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Chickamauga. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Andrew Chastain; sister, Luda Chastain Massey; and "The Love of her Life" husband, Rev. Daniel "Dan" Hale Sr. Survivors include her children, Daniel "Danny" (Annette) Hale Jr. of Rossville, Yvonne (Garrin) Templeton, of Chickamauga, Sheila (Sam) Wiley, of Ooltewah, Mark (Cindy) Hale, of Chickamauga; grandchildren, Angela, Anna, Sarah, Tiffany, Logan, Chloe, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the chapel with Brother Larry Underwood, Brother Bill Broom, and Brother Steve Brandon officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 2 until 8 p.m. today, 2 until 8 p.m. Friday, and prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
