Judith Ellis

Judith Ann Ellis, 77, of Sale Creek, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was of the Baptist Faith. Judith was born Oct. 26, 1936 in Essex, England and has lived in the United States for over 50 years. She had previously worked at Oysters, Tech Tronics and the Soddy-Daisy Walmart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Ellis; son, Phillip Ellis; and several brothers and sisters. Judith is survived by her children, Debra Peterson Lapan, Robert Lee Peterson, Christina Baumbach and Joy Ellis Carr; her grandchildren, Trisha Baird, Brian Carr, Adam Carr, Shawn Lapan, Amanda Ellis and Sara McKee; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Carr and Emmi Carr and several brothers and sisters. Her celebration of life service will be 7 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. David Haynes officiating. Visitation is 6-7 p.m. Saturday. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Her family requests any flower memorials be in the form of perennial plants that can be planted in a Garden Memorial.
