Pamela Lane

Pamela Lee Lane, 58, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2014. She was a 1974 graduate of Chattanooga Valley High School and went on to graduate from Chattanooga State Technical Community College where she received her degree in Legal Studies. She was employed by the Chattanooga Bar Association, Lawyer Referral for 10 years, and she was an active member of Flintstone Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and taught Vacation Bible School. Her passions in life were God, family, church, genealogy, and reading. She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Jesse Stone Jr; sister, Anna Marie Hill, brother Edgar Jesse "Butch" Stone, III; father-in-law, David Francis Lane; and mother-in-law, Iva Nell Lane. Survivors include her former spouse, David Lane of Cottondale, Fla.; son, Christopher Lane (Tracy) of Chattanooga; daughter, April Lane of Flintstone; granddaughter, Sophia Lane of Chattanooga; brother-in-law, James Hill of Red Bank; sister-in-law, Helen Stone of Chattanooga; three nephews; several cousins; and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Mark Harrison and Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
