Wayne Babb

Wayne Michael Babb, 62, went home to be with the Lord Wed., March 5, 2014 surrounded and lovingly supported by family, caregivers and friends. Wayne's life verse would be Psalm 139:14 ESV " I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well". Wayne led a special life which touched and blessed so many people through his happiness and love, teaching valuable life lessons that others could not. Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Herchel Babb; paternal grandparents Walter and Minnie Babb; and maternal grandparents William R. and Ophie E. Cochran. Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Buena Babb; brothers, Roger (Sandra) Babb and David (Lydia) Babb, all of Ringgold; several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank NHC of Fort Oglethorpe and Hospice of Chattanooga for their excellent care, as well as longtime caregivers, Cindy Siskey and Sandy Chase, for their faithful and loving care of Wayne. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Bruce Sloan officiating.
