George Marshall

George M. Marshall, 84, of East Ridge, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014. Mr. Marshall was born in Gamaliel, Ky., to James and Lexie Mae Marshall. He was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ and retired from the East Ridge Public Works Department. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen Marshall; his parents; and sisters, Robbie M. Marshall and Dorothy Gardner. He is survived by his nephew, David (Brooksie) Gardner as well as many special friends. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the funeral home with Minister Charles Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
