Michael Payne

Michael Lamar Payne, loving father, 62, died recently in a local hospital. He was a disabled, former architectural draftsman and Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by his father, Clarence Wallace Payne. Survived by his mother Eunice Myers Payne, of Dayton, Tenn.; one sister, Janet Jones (husband James Jones) of Dayton, Tenn.; children: Katrina Hall (husband James Hall II) of Ohio, Hab Wallace (Jay) Payne, of Tennessee and Michelle Clark (husband Brent Clark), of New Tazewell, Tenn.; several grandchildren including Brittany Jackson, of Chattanooga; one niece of Dayton, Tenn.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
