Judy Johnson

Judy Ann Johnson, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 10, 2014. She was born on Jan. 31, 1953 in Chattanooga. She was a member of Flattop Independent Church. Family and friends were the passion and love of Judys life. Her grandchildren could always put a smile on her face. She loved to read and was a huge wrestling and NASCAR fan. Judys presence in our lives is a gift we will always be thankful for. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Elizabeth Carter; granddaughter, Anna Johnson; brothers, Lloyd Carter, Danny (Betty) Carter, Bill (Sandy) Carter and Jimmy Carter. She is survived by her husband, Barry Johnson; daughter, Michelle Holcomb; son, Michael (Sherry) Johnson; granddaughters, Josie Johnson and Christy Johnson; grandsons, Conley Copeland and Cody Bennett; brother, Richard (Becky) Carter; sister, Donna (Donnie) Hughes; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today, March 13, 2014, at Bowman Cemetery with Rev. Mark Hammond officiating. There will be no visitation.
