Ruby Jenkins

Ruby Lee Herron Jenkins, 98, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at McMinn Memorial Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Cena Herron. Ruby was a member of Delano Baptist Church and owned and operated Jenkins Food Market for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lamar Jenkins. She was the last of seven siblings. Survivors include daughter, Wanda Lillard, of Delano, Tenn.; grandsons and spouse, William "Marty" and Lynnette Lillard, of Conasauga Community and Drew Lillard, of Delano, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Terra and Josh Caughron, Yovani Lillard, Taylor Lillard Tanner King, Shelby Lillard; special sister-in-law, Lillie Mae Herron. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Edward Earl officiating. Family will meet at the cemetery, no formal visitation will be held.
