Peggy Culver

Peggy Anne Culver, 67, of Hixson passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Culver; and parents, Ralph and Ovella Barnes. She was a dedicated nurse at Health Center at Standifer Place for over 30 years. Survivors include two daughters, Kendra Young and Kara Vasquez of Chattanooga and their husbands, Tim Young and Ren Vasquez. She was the proud "Nana" of four grandchildren, Savannah Young, Tabitha Young, Michaela Lankford, and her newest grandchild who is expected in September. She is also survived by one sister, Linda Kitchen, and her family, which includes two nieces and one nephew. The family would like to express their utmost thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga who provided unwavering support. Special thanks to Dr. Galina Rader, her nurse Amy Latham, social worker Faedra McKittrick, and Chaplain Christy Bonner who prayed our Mama home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Lane Funeral Home 601 Ashland Terrace.
