Albert Sells Jr.

Albert "Buster" F. Sells Jr., of Red Bank, went home to be with Lord on Friday, March 14, 2014. He was 86 years old. "Buster" was born in Chattanooga and served our country in the United States Navy. He retired from the Electric Power Board with over 38 years of service. "Buster" was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank where he served as a Deacon and currently a member of Bible Baptist Church in Hixson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert "Rowdy" and Janey Sells and two siblings, Geraldine "Gerri" and Dora "Dodie" Sells. "Buster" is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Retha Narramore Sells; children, Stephen (Diane) Sells, Debbie Hobbs and Michael (Debra) Sells; grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Bearden, Shauna Mills, Krissy Hobbs, Jimmy (Katie) Hobbs, Tiffany (Justin) Alexander and Cristina (Robby) Flores; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Sue Alexander and Jane (Dean) Heavener; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on today, March 17, and again on Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services for "Buster" will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home chapel with Pastor J. Michael Bates officiating. Burial will follow in National Cemetery with military honors. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made in "Busters" name to Bible Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1233, Hixson, TN 37343 or you can send flowers to the funeral home.
