Willie Thompson

Willie James Thompson, 84, formerly of Atlanta, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 in a local health care facility. He was a retired truck driver from Mason-Dixon. He was preceded in death by his brother, L.C. Thompson; and son, Glenn Thompson. Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Thompson, of Chattanooga and Cheryl Glover, of Atlanta; son, Keith Thompson, of Atlanta; granddaughter, Tamela Williams Parker; great-grandchildren, Cierra, Erica, and Eric Parker; many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral with the funeral to follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Billy McKillop as the eulogist. Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
