Joseph Copeland

Joseph "Joey" Copeland, 21, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. He was born Feb. 5, 1993 in Chattanooga, son of James Copeland and Lisa Dewey. Joey had one child, daughter Kaylynn Copeland. He was cherished and will be greatly missed by many. Survivors include his father and mother, James Copeland and Lisa Dewey; stepparents, Wendy Copeland, David Wimpy and George Dewey; siblings, Charles Davis, Thomas Davis, Amanda Davis, Nicki Jones, Brilee Copeland, Danielle Downey, Derrick Dye, Anthony White, DaKota Wimpy, Breanna Wimpy, Brooke Wimpy, Michael Wimpy, Rainy Wimpy, Brenda Dewey, Nick Dewey and George Dewey; grandparents, Wilma Johnson, Raymond Dye, Polly and James Copeland, Georgia and Joseph Barnett, Joyce Morgan and Robert Wimpy; aunts and uncles, John Dye, Virginia Mitchell, Dianna Beach, Carolyn Kirby, Michelle Dye, Dale and Ann Beach, Jamie Copeland and Scott Copeland; several cousins and lots of extended family. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John M. Carter officiating.
