Mildred Jordan

Mildred Thomas Jordan, 91, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Will and Viola Thomas. She was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she served on the Mother Board. She was also a member of Park City Community Club. She retired from Rivoli Mills Inc. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Jordan Sr.; sister, Ollie Stamper; and grandson, Victor T. Jordan. Survivors by son, Thomas J. Jordan Jr.; daughter, Pearlie M. Snow; 13 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; 46 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. today, March 21, 2014, in the Chapel. Interment at 2 p.m. National Cemetery. Arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
