Robert Tucker

Robert William Tucker, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Bob proudly served his country during WWII and worked in the Insurance industry for over 35 years. Bob was born on July 3, 1919 in Hartford, Conn. He has lived in Chattanooga with his wife and family since 1953 and he was a charter member of Central Baptist Church, in the Woodmore area of Brainerd; later attending Ridgedale Baptist Church. Bob was a loving father and a devoted grandfather. He loved traveling with his family and spending time at the family cabin in Gatlinburg, Tenn., with his grandchildren. He will forever be loved and remembered. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mrs. Penny Money Tucker; and his four children, Gary Tucker and his wife Andy, Robert J. Tucker and his wife, Sherry, Amy Tucker and Richard Tucker; seven grandchildren, Beau (Tracey) Tucker, Jacy Tucker (Jeremy) Copeland, Kami Tucker (Chris) Edwards; Leah Tucker (Scott) Sergeant, Matthew Tucker, Lauren Tucker; Mrs. Lynsey Tucker Santora; 10 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Tanner, Jaden, Jake, Addie, Nolan, Tucker, Emma, Hyden and Avery. The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, in the chapel at Lakewood Memory Gardens, East, located at 3621 Shallowford Road. Entombment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East Mausoleum.
