Rodger Kilgore

Rodger L. Kilgore, 74, passed away, Wednesday, March 19, 2014. He was a former residence of Stockbridge Ga, and had lived in Whitwell for the past 10 years. Mr. Kilgore retired from Sherman Williams after 33 years of service and a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was of the Church of God faith and was member of Kimball Tabernacle of Praise (K-Top). He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Kilgore; and siblings, Francis, Harriet, Margaret and Charles Rodger is survived by his wife, Charlotte Lee Kilgore; son, Charles (Pam) Kilgore; step-children, Kathy Plowman and Dianne Lee (Jeff), Jackie (Roland) Boudreaux, Jeff (Sabrina) Lee, and Willie Lee.; brother, Syn; sisters, Anna Jean, Dottie and Davida; grandchildren, Justin, Kayla and Chaz; and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. CDT today, March 21, 2014, with funeral services to follow with Brother Darrell Nunley officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Ga., at 11 a.m. CDT on Saturday, March 22, 2014.
