Juanita Johnston ROCK SPRING Frances "Juanita" West Johnston, 85, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014. She was of the Protestant faith, a lifelong resident of Walker County and was an educator for 36 years in the Walker County School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Johnston; father, Archie Andrew West; mother, Irene Sloan West; and brother, Donald Lee West. Survivors include two nieces, Teresa W. Swafford, of Rock Spring; Lenora I. (Greg) Gass, of Ringgold; nephew, Andrew Martin West, of Gruetli-Laager, Tenn.; one great-nephew, Brent G. Gass. Services will be private.
