Phyllis Sneed

Phyllis Louise Sneed, 70, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, on the first day of Spring. She had worked at Chattanooga Answering Service and was a member of Trinity Holiness Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved being with her family; liked playing Jeopardy and trivia games. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Eugene Sneed. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Elaine Belcher, Byron, Ga.; four sons, Wesley J. Sneed, Lookout, Mountain, Georgia, Daniel Lavon Sneed, Cleveland, Tenn., David Dewayne Sneed, Trenton, Ga., and Calvin Eugene Sneed, II, Portland, Oregon; one sister, Margaret Russell, Rossville, Georgia; one brother, George Elbert Smith, Fort Oglethorpe; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. EDT Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother J. L. Black and Minister D. J. Sneed officiating. Interment will be held in Lakewood Cemetery, South. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. EDT and 2-8 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday.
