Barbara Shirley

Barbara Jean Herron Shirley, age 57 of Chickamauga, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Baptist Faith. Barbara was a former employee of Dupree Tire & Oil. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister, who will be missed greatly. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Carl Claude Herron and brother, Michael Wayne Herron. She is survived by her children, Ricky Shirley and Dale Shirley of Chickamauga; mother, Iva Jean Clemme Herron; sister, Debbie Mannis; grandchildren, Aaron and Brian; and several nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe.
