Susie McNish

Susie Wynett McNish, 87, departed this life Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born in Whitfield County, Ga., to the late Albert and Mary Fisher. Susie retired as a beautician and worked for Loiss Beauty Salon in Dalton for many years, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Ringgold. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Denise McNish; and her siblings, Marie James, Lois Clark, Calvin Fisher and Douglas Fisher. Survivors include her loving husband, Archie McNish; children, David McNish, Melinda McNish, Dean McNish, Diana McClure, Donna Leath, Darlene Suggs, all of Ringgold; sister, Melba Silvey, of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Rev. Herman Kapherr and Roger Suggs officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. today and prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Samaritans Purse at samaritanspurse.org and/or the Salvation Army at salvationarmyusa.org.
