Johnny Peardon

John Grady "Johnny" Peardon, died, March 26, 2014, at the age of 86 at his home. He established the Bible Church of God in South Pittsburg, where he was pastor for over 20 years. It stands today as a memorial in his honor, where he is loved by all members and all who knew him. He will never be forgotten. He was also the owner and operator of Marion Glass and served the community for well over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Peardon and Ada Peardon May; daughters, Vickie Peterson and Shirley Pugh; brothers, James, Ernest and Darnell Peardon; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Peardon; son, John Wayne Peardon; daughters, Joyce (Curtis) Williams, Ada (Tommy) Dean, Brenda Gibson, Kay (George) Alder, Pam (John) Ellison, Tammy (Ben) Fuller; two stepsons, John (Sandy) Turner, and Daniel (Linda) Turner; stepbrother, James (Barbara) Sharp; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 2 until 8 p.m. CDT today, March 28, and from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. CDTSaturday, March 29. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT Sunday, March 30, 2014, with Rev. Talmadge Crawford officiating.
