Terry Jordan

Terry Jordan, 61, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Terry was born on Jan. 27, 1953 to the late Sarah (Willie) Kitchens. Terry was a very faithful employee of the Marriott for 22 years. He was of the Baptist faith and a loving and devoted husband of 15 years. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Kitchens; stepfather, Willie Kitchens Sr.; grandmother, Hattie Clark; sister, Lynn Jordan; mother-in-law, Alma Rivers; brother-in-law, Front Gee Rivers and sister-in-law, Constance Shaheed. Memories will forever be cherished by his devoted and loving wife, Cheryl Jordan, Chattanooga; son, Jared Jordan; and daughter, Jennifer Jordan, both of Cleveland, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Barbara Rivers, Patricia Jennings, Lavonia Rivers, Alfreda Smith, all of Chattanooga and Nadine Rivers, of Las Cruces, N.M.; aunt, Janette Lovejoy; the Kitchens siblings and in-laws; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in the Chapel. Interment in Tyner Cemetery. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
