Hilda Conley

Hilda Ruth Conley, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014, in local healthcare facility. She was formerly employed by Parkridge Medical Center for many years. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church where she served as an usher, Sunday School teacher and worked with the Boy Scouts. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Gregory; mother, Hallie Carter; husband, Luke Conley Jr. Survivors include her brothers, Jerome (Cynthia) Gregory, Carter (Marilyn) Gregory, both of Atlanta, and Terry (Grace) Gregory, of Fayetteville, Tenn.; sisters, Shirley Adair, of Chattanooga, Melva (Leroy) Wells, of Atlanta, Jeraldean Harper and Terry Wagoner, both of Fayetteville; aunt, Tearea Vines, of Maryland; many nieces, nephews, cousins; devoted friend, Bobbie McDaniel and many other friends. Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Friday at Olivet Baptist Church with Pastor Kevin Adams Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Chattanooga National Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-7 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.
