Michael Brown

Michael Eugene Brown, 59, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at his home. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of Chapter 203 Viet Nam Veterans. Michael was an electrical technician with ECI. He was a die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers. Michael was the son of the late Sally and Bill Brown. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Imagene and Henry Outlaw; paternal grandparents, John and Ethel Brown; and brother, Rodney Brown. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Brown; daughter, Kelly (Heath) Carey, of Trenton, Ga.; sons, Tim Brown, of Chattanooga and Billy Brown, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Koti, Brittany, Daisy, Colby, Issac and Dasha; brothers, Stanley (Debbie) Brown, of Whitwell and Todd (Becky) Brown, of Signal Mountain; sister-in-law, Susan Brown, of Hixson; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Chaplin Connie "CC" Veasey officiating and with military honors. The military will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all employees of ECI. In lieu of flowers, Brenda requests that contributions be made to the Chattanooga Food Bank.
