Barnard Robertson Jr. Barnard Perdue Robertson Jr., 94, of Chattanooga passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014. He was born Aug. 22, 1919 and raised in Woodstock, Ga., to the late Barnard Perdue Robertson Sr. and Jessie Kemp Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, L. Cleo Capley Robertson; two sisters; and one daughter, Lillian Gayle Robertson. Barnard was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines for 17 years before entering the real estate arena. He formed B.P. Robertson Construction Co. and was a homebuilder for 50 years. He was a member of Brainerd United Methodist Church for 60 years serving in his Sunday School Class Wesley Fellowship and as finance chairman for the church. He is survived by daughter, Carol L. Robertson; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday May 7, 2014, at Brainerd United Methodist Church in the McFerrin Chapel with Rev. Dennis Flaugher and Rev. John Habecker, officiating.
