Linda Denton

Linda Joan Denton, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014. She was a resident of Chattanooga for many years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Denton; parents, Robert and Carrie Blair; brothers, Malcolm, Johnny, Herschel and J W; sisters, Gladys and Sybil. Survivors include her daughter, Holly Denton and friend, Beth Wilser, of Chattanooga; brother, Franklin Blair, of Dalton; sisters, Juanita Cooper, of LaFayette, Francis Plott, of New Born, Ga., and Carolyn Skidmore, of Rutledge, Tenn.; sisters-in-law, Virginia Hickman and Willie Moore; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday May 7, 2014, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in New McDonald Cemetery.
