Ulysses Mysinger

Ulysses Mysinger, 82, of Hixson, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014, at his residence. He retired from Card Monroe Corporation where he had made many friends through the years. Ulysses was also known to many people as "Santa" because he had spent many years playing the part. He was preceded in death by his parents, Porter and Vieva Mysinger; stepfather; three sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Mary Mysinger; daughters, Connie (Gary) Frazier, Soddy-Daisy, Linda Wisner, Red Bank, Angel (Jim) Brooks, Hixson; sister, Eva Mae Jeffries, Soddy-Daisy; brother, B. R. (Dink) Mysinger, Ooltewah; grandchildren, Clyde Jr., Ricky, Adam, Dewayne, Tonya, Wesley, Jonathon and Elizabeth; six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Aaron Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
