Charles Vaughn

Charles Augusta Vaughn, 81, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. He was retired from Kelloggs Bakery Company and a long time employee of Willis Funeral Home, Inc. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jimmie Lee Long Vaughn. Survivors are his four daughters, Burnetta (Charles) Pender, Elaine Wiggins, Denise Brown and Gwinnetta (Orange) Evans; three sons, Charles A. (Madonna) Vaughn Jr., Gregory Lee Vaughn and Vincent (Christy) Madden; sister, Rosalyn Malcolm; two brothers, Cleveland L. (Annie) Vaughn Jr. and Robert (Portia) Vaughn; sister-in-law, Clemmie L. Massin; son-in-law; Larry Allen; grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The Homegoing service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Roach officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Interment- Summerville Cemetery. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc. Dalton, Ga.
