Robert Turner

Mr. Robert Eston Turner, 88, passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Altamont and was a US Navy veteran. He was born in Haynes City , Fla. on June 30, 1925 to Charlie Woods and Flora Elizabeth Fults Turner who preceded him in death along with his, son, Robert Earl Turner; sister, Juanita Davis; brother, Charles Turner. He is survived by his wife, Edna Jean Killian Turner; sons, Danny, Larry and Ricky Turner; sister, Lois Hayes, Utah; brothers, Kenneth Turner, Illinois and Douglas Turner, Texas; grandchildren, Krysti Erin Schoenmann and Lora Lynn Whitman; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Mormon Church in Altamont with Bishop Aaron Barrett officiating with burial to follow in the Altamont Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
