Faye White SEQUATCHIE Catherine Faye Powell White, 71, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at the Red Bank Life Care Center, from injuries she received in a fall 6 months ago. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and most of all a faithful Christian. Faye was a member of the 1961 graduating class of Marion County High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie White Jr.; her parents, Laila S. Powell and Jesse Powell; a brother, John Horace Powell; and brother-in-law, Herman Brown. She is survived by her son, Tony White, Melbourne, Fla.; granddaughter, Zoey White; stepgranddaughter, Toby Sue Maples, both of Gallatin, Mo.; two sisters, Peggy Jean Brown, Whitwell, and Shirley Marie (David Sr.) Jackson, Kimball; one brother, William M. (Susie) Powell, Sequatchie; three nieces, Ruth Rowe, Kimball, Denise Miles, Sequatchie, and Crystal Brown, Caldwell, Idaho; three nephews, David Jackson, Kimball, wade and Todd Brown, both of Whitwell. Services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Thursday, May 15, 2014, in the funeral home chapel, with Billy Watkins and Rusty Hargis officiating. Burial will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Wade Brown, David Jackson, Robby Jackson, Gregg Rowe, Richard Miles and Oscar Brown.
