Charles Ashley

Charles Ashley, 85, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014, at his home. He was an Elder of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Ringgold, Ga., and retired from J.D. Helton Roofing Co. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Steven Ashley; grandson, Randy Scott Ashley; parents, Horace and Lila Ashley; sister, Maurice Walton; and brothers, Edwin and Bobby Ashley. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Peggy Joyce Ashley; son, Danny (Debbie) Ashley; grandchildren, Shane, Shawn and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Cayden; sister, Betty Siniard; brother, Tommy Ashley; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour at the church.
