Clara Howard

Clara Frances Howard, 94, of Hixson, a faithful, long-time member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 15, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter F. Howard; daughter, Hazel Dye; and son, Edward F. Howard. Survivors are daughters, Mildred H. Jenkins, of Atlanta and Patricia (David) Booher, of Hixson; son, Bobby L. (Charlotte) Howard, of Hixson; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The family expresses a special thanks to the staff at Soddy-Daisy Health Care Center. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Saturday and 1-2 p.m. Sunday at Lane Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Lane Funeral Home with grandson, Johnny Howard and Pastor Alan Stewart officiating. Private interment will be Monday in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
