Roselyn Runyons

Roselyn Renae Runyons departed this life Monday, May 12, 2014. She was born Jan. 16, 1981. She graduated from Cleveland High School in 1999 and received her certificate in nursing. At an early age (under the pastorate of Bishop G.R. Hill) Roselyn accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Leonard A. Woods Sr.; her father, Eugene Spencer Runyons Jr.; brothers, Spencer Langston Woods, Eugene Spencer Runyons III; uncles, Leonard A. Woods Jr., Leonard Lee Woods, Marvin Taft Woods and Robert Westfield. She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Spencer Davadrian Runyons; and her mother, Shirley L. Runyons, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandparents, Lilly B. Woods, Patsy Runyons, and Eugene S. Runyons Sr.; uncles, Milton (Frincine) Woods, of Lexington, Ky., Don Woods, Floyd Woods, of Georgetown, Tenn., Lowell Woods, of Etowah, Tenn., and Nathan(Sheryl) Runyons, of Cleveland, Tenn.; aunts, Sylvia Woods, Sandra Westfield, of Georgetown, Tenn., Jackie Clark, of Marietta, Ga., Patsy Woods, Patricia Ragsdale, Candee (Milo) Ware; very special friends, Teresa Westfield, Martinique Cox Williams, Bianca Scotton Appiah, Gloria Scott-Richmond; and her very special friend, Juan Brown of Raleigh, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Church of God Sanctified with pastor Bishop G.R. Hill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 1 p.m. until 2 pm. at the church. Interment will follow at St. Elmo Church cemetery in Georgetown, Tenn. Visitation by friends will begin after 1 p.m. today at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home.
