Robby Floyd

SODDY-DAISYRobby Earl Floyd, 54, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014. He was a longtime resident of Dunedin, Florida. Robby was a 1978 Graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School, he served our country in the Unites States Air Force for six years and had currently been employed at Summit View Assisted Living. He was an excellent gardener, he enjoyed cooking for his family and he was a master carpenter. Robby also enjoyed music and playing the drums. He was always happy to share his many talents with anyone in need. His grandparents, Rev. Ed and Millie Hopkins McKinney of Elk Park, North Carolina and Roy and Elizabeth Floyd of Palm Harbour, Florida, preceded him in death. Robby is survived by his parents, Robert E. and Faye A. Floyd of Soddy-Daisy, TN; his son, Christopher Coffman; his brother and sister-in-law, Ronny D. and Victoria Christian- Floyd of Soddy-Daisy, TN; his sister, Angela Ann Floyd of Soddy-Daisy, TN and two nieces, Kayla Daughtery and London Dobbert; one nephew, Kenneth Daughtery and one great-nephew, Alexx Smith.. The memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Reggie Asplund officiating. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
