Elizabeth Wooden

Elizabeth Anna Wooden, 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014. She worked for Hostess Cakes for 23 years. She received many awards for working with the homeless and other organizations that brought her much happiness. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Dorothy Vinson Martin; parents, Rev. Robert and Patricia Martin Williams; beloved brother, Mikey Williams; father of her son, Ken Weathers. She is survived by her husband, Greg Wooden of Ringgold; son, Kevin (Brittany) Weathers of Soddy-Daisy; stepson, Daniel (Ashley) Wooden of Ringgold; stepdaughter, Kelly (Derrick) Ramsey of Ringgold; sisters, Victoria Linville and Gay Williams, both of Chattanooga, and Susan Thomas of Mississippi; stepbrother, Monty Peterson of Chattanooga; stepsisters, Jan Eastridge and Shanna Land; grandson, Gage Weathers; step-grandson, Hunter Smith; step-grandchildren, Hunter, Teal, Caitlin, Teagan, Trinity, Peyton and Shaun; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Jeremy Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
