Irvin Glover Jr.

Irvin Oliver Glover Jr., 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014 in a local hospital. He was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of Avondale Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Easter Calhoun; parents, Irvin and Phyllis Glover Sr.; daughter, Donna Michelle Glover; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Glover; brothers, Bernard and Walter Glover; and sister, Margaret Glover. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Glover; sons, LaFrederick (Tammy) Glover, Orlando Glover, and Antonio Terry, all of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther (Robert "Bobby") Smith, Bonita Glover, Mildred Glover, Sandra Glover, all of Chattanooga and Michelle Jackson of Baltimore, Md.; mother-in-law, Essie Wright; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. today, Nov. 24, at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday in the chapel with Brother John R. Taylor Sr. as the eulogist. Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
