Margaret Parker

Margaret Louise Parker, 83, passed Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014. Mrs. Parker faithfully served alongside her husband as a pastors wife in numerous churches across Northwest Georgia. She will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Luther L. Parker; parents, Lee Edward and Mabel Cox Turman; sisters, Juanita Broadbent, Naomi Lister, Leota Carrier, Ethel (Bob) Lister, and Ruthie Turman; great-grandson, Jonathan Morris. She is survived by daughters, Lydia (LeRoy) Witt, Connie (Chris) Witt; sons, Melvin (Judy) Parker, Ed (Regina) Parker; grandchildren, Traci Morris, Debbie Brown, Derek (Ali) Parker, Ashlee (Kyle) Abernathy, Ali Witt; great-grandchildren, Dusty Brown, Cody Brown, Victoria Morris, Alexander Morris, Bryant Abernathy. Funeral service 6 p.m. today, Nov. 24, at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home conducted by Mr. Derek Parker. Interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
