Richard Hunt Sr.

Richard Larry Hunt Sr., 57, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, in a local hospital. He was a 1975 graduate of Brainerd High School. He was self-employed as a concrete finisher. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Hunt. Survivors: wife, Sharon Hunt; son, Richard Larry Hunt Jr.; mother, JoAnn McCrary; grandmother, Lola Mae Harlin; stepmother, Barbara Neally Hunt; devoted friend, Dorothy Fleming, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Michael Lebron (Angela) Hunt of Chattanooga and John W. (Lisa) Hunt of Clarksville, Tenn.; stepbrother, Stanley Neally of Chattanooga; stepsisters, Beverly Neally of California and Yolanda Neally of Chattanooga; uncles, William R. Lovelace of Atlanta, James Lovelace, and Pastor Lydell (Joyce) Lovelace, both of Chattanooga; aunts, Betty Robinson, Diane Mason, Gwendolyn Taylor, Annie Mae Hunt, Debra Colvin, all of Chattanooga, and Yvonne Hairston of South Carolina; brother-in-law, Elder Ricky (Charlotte) Hardaway; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today, Nov. 24, at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday in the chapel with Pastor Lydell Lovelace as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery.
